Common features:

• 8 automatic charge and maintenance cycles

• 3 charging programs: Auto (depending on the model 3.5 Amp, 5 Amp and 9 Amp), Moto (always at 1 Amp) and specific program for modern Auto Start&Stop batteries (depending on the model 3.5 Amp, 5 Amp and 9 Amp).

• Temperature compensation: Built-in temperature sensor automatically adjusts the charging curve depending on the ambient temperature

• “Plug and forget” system: once the charging cycle is complete, the device automatically switches to maintenance mode, in a safe and economical way (maximum €2 per year on the bill for continuous use 365 days a year, 24 hours a day)

Differences

• the maximum charging current (in the Auto or Start & Stop program), which affects the charging speed (the higher the charging current, the faster the charging speed).

• BC 3500 EVO+ and BC 9000 EVO+ have an LCD display, while SMART 5000+ has a LED light bar

• SMART 5000+ has a Power Supply function to safeguard the memories of on-board devices during battery replacement.

Our battery chargers and maintainers are compatible with both traditional fuel vehicles (Diesel, Petrol, Methane, LPG) and mixed fuel vehicles (hybrid vehicles, e.g. petrol + electric).

However, we always invite our customers to check the specific characteristics of their vehicle by consulting the instruction manuals provided by the manufacturer.

Do you have more than one car? Do you also have a motorbike?

We recommend that you add another fixing cable with eyelets to your order (see photo), so that using a common screwdriver you can "get your hands dirty" just once and fix a connection cable for each vehicle. Don't worry, all BC products are protected from short circuits and do not produce any sparks: even in the event of an assembly error, you will not be able to cause any damage to the vehicle's control unit or to yourself.

This way, connecting your BC charger to all your cars (or even your motorbike) will become an operation that takes just a few seconds!
